Chopped 2013

Over the weekend we packed up our gear and went to Chopped.
Every year it just gets bigger!!  The weather was super fine.  No mud, though there was plenty of dust.

Here are some of my photos from the weekend.

Waiting to get in.

It wouldn't be the same if the Modified wasn't there.

Bikes on the track

Love the Circle track!!

These are just a few photos from Friday.
I have some many more...
I'll put some more up later.....

Revisit :

I haven't updated in such a long time, and when I do I miss things.
So, today I am revisiting a shoot I did way earlier this year.
I walked around the city at night, I climbed up roof tops.  Here a few of the images from that night.  Now that the weather is starting to look better, I'll do it again.

These photos were taken in March, if you look closely you can see that there has been some changes to some of these land marks already.

PS. Today I googled Pepper Minx.  There are so many other people using this name now, it's so strange.  There's a Burlesque dancer - i think she's American, a craft place in England, some chick that blogs about her therapy sessions - I am addicted to reading it.  There is even a race dog - grayhound - though it doesn't race any more.....  I wonder if people confuse us..... I am none of those people, I am just that girl that has  black and white hair with tattoos, that runs this blog, and watches people - sometimes.

Chops 'n' Bobbers 6 : Kustom Lane Gallery

Today Buzz and I took the Victoria to the Chops 'n' Bobbers show at Kustom Lane Gallery.  Kuda (Mr.Z) and Karl from KDS met us at our place this morning and we burned down the freeway to Hawthorn, with the 'Vicky' full of laughter and high jinx.

Here are some of my photos from the show.

Be Free : : Exhibtion

Last night at around 11 pm I received a text from a friend.
Telling me that there will be an "unauthorized art exhibition in an abandoned house tomorrow morning 9am." With an address.

On the way in I drank way too much coffee.
This is what I found.

I think there is a ghost in this photo!

Project : Family Portrait

A few weeks ago an absolutely gorgeous family approached me to take some photos of their happy little family.
I felt quiet privileged that they offered me the chance, especially as I have not had too much experience with family portraiture  and children.  Luckily they had one cute 2 year old, who was a bundle of excitement and a joy to be around.  They also had a few dogs and an awesome block of land with plenty of sculptures and old cars to use as back drops.
I am also lucky to have them as my friends.

Here are some shots from the day.

I love the dogs in this photo! So cute!!
